David Noon
The Gift of the Eagle
Summit Records

This original story and musical score is based on a musical curriculum which teaches about stringed and percussion instruments, as well as about the various style periods in music history.

The story is a fantasy about Katrina, a black cat who wants to discover what to do with her life.  She is shown the world, a variety of times and places throughout history, by Alistaire, a magical eagle, as she searches for her own special talents and a way to use them.  She learns to "do what you love and love what you do" while "sharing your natural gifts in order to make the world a better and more beautiful place to live."

The score was composed by internationally acclaimed Classical composer, David Noon.
