Guy Klucevsek's new solo release features wide-ranging influences, moods, and styles. It contains his own compositions inspired by Bartok ("Return of the Microids"), Stravinsky and the folk music of eastern Europe ("Festina Tarde"), Jazz ballads ("The Gift"), American folk music ("Bits and Pieces of Hard Coal"), social dance forms (Portables) and film music (the title track, a 14-minute suite).
