Ollie Marsh and Jason Silva, both live musicians for the group Stormdrain, founded industrial rock band We Got This Far in 2007. The band has received acclaim for its debut 12” vinyl single, Bludgeon, and for live appearances with acts like Dismantled, Deathline International, Dawn of Ashes, and Mankind Is Obsolete. Their official debut album, mastered by Tom Baker (Ministry, Nine Inch Nails), offers a thrilling menu of juicy riffs and crunchy synths, at times heavy hitting and merciless, at others melancholic and thoughtful. Blunt Force Volume contains nine tracks plus a remix by Gary Zon (Dismantled).
