 Having lived in the Northwest for most of his life, it has come to be more than just home to pianist Scott Cossu. In the mountains, along the waters, and in the mossy forest he seeks out solitude and comfort to renew his spirit. Inspired by the lushness and beauty the great Northwest has to offer he brings us a glimpse of these musical inspirations so we too can walk down a wondrous EMERALD PATHWAY. Most of his recordings have showcased a love of Latin rhythms and world beat. This time around his mood reflects a little Chamber music, with a touch of classical and a hint of jazz, with the addition of guitar, flutes, bass and percussion. |

 Musician, composer and recording artist Scott Cossu is hard to catagorize. His background in jazz and rhythm and blues, combined with his years of classical training and his study of ethnic music from Sudan, Thailand, China, Rumania and Ecuador result in unique music that has been performed in concerts worldwide and recorded since 1981. Over the years Scott has performed, recorded and created film and video scores, developing his style and approach to composition. He has since produced 10 albums and scores for a number of projects. He currently lives in the Northwest.
