DIMMOCK, JONATHAN:ORG
COMPLETE ORGAN WORKS
LOF-Loft Recordings
Allegro Price: $15.18
Jonathan
Dimmock brilliantly performs organ masterworks that are justly
regarded as the finest examples of classical German organ literature.
These pieces are intensely masculine, technically demanding, and
emotionally assertive—and then, all at once, lyrical and gentle.

COMPLETE STRING QUARTET CYCLE [9 CDS]
FCL-Foghorn Classics
Allegro Price: $59.92
These stunning recordings, made in just 19 days in 2008 at New
York City’s famed American Academy of Arts and Letters, constitute

WAYBRIGHT:CND/VONNEGUT:LIBRE
AMERICAN SOLDIER'S TALE, AN
SMT-Summit Records
Allegro Price: $13.19
The first recording of Kurt Vonnegut's libretto! Vonnegut’s libretto is loosely based on The Execution of Private Slovik, a nonfiction book by William Bradford Huie published in 1954. The resulting version is a highly controversial yet entertaining fusion of Stravinsky’s music and the edgy, abrupt Vonnegut text.

KATSARIS, CYPRIEN:PNO
ALLEGRO [ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK]
P21-Piano 21
Allegro Price: $15.18
Cyprien Katsaris recorded the music for the Danish film Allegro.
Directed by Christoffer Boe, winner of Golden Camera Award for
Reconstruction (2003), it features Ulrich Thomsen, Henning Moritzen,

The soundtrack consists exclusively of music by Johann Sebastian
Bach: pieces for solo piano but also movements from concertos,
which Katsaris recorded with the South West German Chamber Orchestra
Pforzheim conducted by Sebastian Tewinkel.
